About

My name is Kaukab Siddique.

I am a Professor of English Language and at Lincoln University, Oxford, Pennsylvania, USA.

The primary focus of my research is ” Women in Islam” which has Alhamdollillah culminated in several publications including some books.

This blog is dedicated to all those sisters, mothers and daughters who have caught the rope of Allah firmly in their hands and want to give others a hand up with the knowledge of the Quran and Hadith.

This is not a feminist blog. This is a place where misconceptions will inshallah be cleared. I will do my best to bring the words of our Rasool peace be upon him to light.

May Allah Zojal grant me purity in my intention to serve him and His Rasool pbuh in presenting the message of his Hadith to men and women in the light of the Quran, forgive me for my mistakes and allow me to correct them before I pass from this life. Ameen

    salam aleikum wa rahmatuallahi wabarakatuhu.
Thank you so much for your insights and your sharing your knowledge with others.

I found your blog when I search for hadiths about women and obedience, as I was writing a post about it on my own blog. But I was astonished to read about the travel and the obedience of the women, and I your research made me very happy. I would like to know how you could figure out the omissions. I also would like to know if you recommend a book or two that is about the omissions of words in hadiths, and mal-interpretations of them and also a book about the order of the revelation of the Qur’an, as I would like to dig deeper into the world of Quranic understanding and knowledge.

    Kind regards and salam aleikum
