THE SIN OF OMISSION

Allah Subhanawataala says in the Hadith Qudsi, what is the sin of omission……..

On the authority of Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

Let not any one of you belittle himself. They said: O Messenger of Allah, how can any one of us belittle himself? He said: He finds a matter concerning Allah about which he should say something, and he does not say [it], so Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says to him on the Day of Resurrection: What prevented you from saying something about such-and-such and such-and-such? He say: [It was] out of fear of people. Then He says: Rather it is I whom you should more properly fear.

It was related by Ibn Majah with a sound chain of authorities.

WHY MAKE SALAH?

You may hear many medical, psychological and practical reasons why you should pray. However it all boils down to one thing with no gender discrimination………

And Here it is:

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (PBUH), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says:

The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers (Salah)

If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded: and if they are wanting, then he will have failed and lost.

If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, the Lord (glorified and exalted be He) will say: See if My servant has any supererogatory prayers with which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory prayers.

Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like fashion.

Hadith Qudsi 9: It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Ahmad).
